Monday Monday.....

Mondays are usually a very long day for me, but today I was lucky.... the town I teach had an "ice" day so the buses weren't running so I didn't have to drive out there to teach dance. It was weird because it was actually super nice where we live, it rained this morning, then turned into a bit of snow and then it was sunny out. Crazy weather here lol.

I've been feeling pretty good lately - starting to get a bit more tired all the time - Baby Bear is a mover so sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night due to kicking. Baby Bear has also been hibernating in my rib cage so it gets a bit uncomfortable at times. Love the kid to death already but seriously... my ribs??? I guess it could be worse, right?????

Super Saturday :)

I have had a wonderful week. A bit busy but wonderful nonetheless. We finished painting Baby Bear's room. And I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. For it being Panda Man's first time to paint a room EVER, he did a wonderful job. I also worked at the baby store this week and had a blast there. AND tonight I had my first ever Stamp Group Class, and it went so smoothly and great and I am so happy with it. So it's been a super Saturday and a wonderful week so far. Looking forward to what next week will bring :)

Terrific Tuesdays

So I had a WONDERFUL weekend with my friend from back home, it was SO nice to see her. And her boyfriend is also very nice as well. And then today Panda Man started Baby Bear's room! I was SO excited that he started it, it made me so happy that he is helping with things and making an effort to do a great job. So the room is primed now, and we start painting tomorrow... well he starts painting tomorrow, I'm not allowed to because of the smell of the paint lol. I think it's a great excuse to get out of doing lots of manual labour hahaha.

Now onto something borrowed from another blog, The Life of An Army Wife

MY 22 WEEK UPDATE

How far along: 22 weeks today

Total weight gain: as of my last Dr.'s appt, 7 pounds

Size and growth of the baby: How your baby's growing: Here's my weekly update from Babycenter.com

At 11 inches (the length of a spaghetti squash) and almost 1 pound, your baby is starting to look like a miniature newborn. His lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and he's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath his gums. His eyes have formed, but his irises (the colored part of the eye) still lack pigment. If you could see inside your womb, you'd be able to spot the fine hair (lanugo) that covers his body and the deep wrinkles on his skin, which he'll sport until he adds a padding of fat to fill them in. Inside his belly, his pancreas — essential for the production of some important hormones — is developing steadily.

Sex: Don't wanna know :) And even if we did, someone was VERY un-cooperative at the ultrasound and we couldn't find out lol.

Maternity clothes: All the time - but only because I love the waists on the pants lol

Sleep: I can MOSTLY still sleep through the night... but wake up with really HOT feet, and someone kicking my bladder

Best moment(s) of the week: Having Panda Man feel the baby move

Movement: It's a MANIAC lol. My baby likes to dance and act crazy and kick lots, we got a mover.

Food cravings/aversions: I want milk, ice cream and cheese. And apples.

Morning sickness: If I don't eat right away in the morning, I'll be sick.

Symptoms: Back pain, but that's about it.

Labor signs: None, thank goodness!

Belly button in or out: In

What I miss: Seeing my toes lol

What I'm looking forward to: My baby shower in 1 month and 1 week :)

Trying to be consistent in blogging....

I'm trying to be more consistent in my blogging, but I often forget.... can I blame it on pregnancy brain??

This week is going to be a busy but exciting week for us. Panda man is on reading week so he's going to be doing lots of things on my "honey-do" list, one of my great friends from back home is going to be visiting, I only teach 3 days this week (thank you to Family Day in Ontario lol), we're going to go down to the good ol' U.S.of A. for some shopping (SUPER pumped about that, I'm running low on cookie crisp and Cherry Coke), and I work at the baby store again lol. I haven't worked there since before Christmas, but I'm REALLY looking forward to my shift.

I've been working at the gym a lot this week so I've had time to catch up on my blog reading, class planning and craft project to-do list. I think I would have died today without having my laptop here and thank goodness for MacBooks, iPhones and being able to tether the internet off of my phone so I can use my laptop. I would have died without this.

We went grocery shopping on Thursday night and one of the stores here, Loblaws, has clothing and such as well as groceries. They also have the CUTEST rainboots ever and Panda man was ever so nice and bought me a brand new pair of super cute pink rainboots!!

Adding up

The amount of "stuff" I have happening over the next 4 months is starting to add up. Some days I get very overwhelmed when I make my "to-d0" lists. And then other days, I don't give a hoot. I'm looking forward to Panda Man's reading week this month, it will give us time to get some projects done around the house - plus I took the time off from the gym so it's one less job I'll be working. And then in March, I'll be finished most of my big teaching contracts by the second week, and honestly I'm not sure how many more I'll take after that. I like the money and I love teaching dance - but I'm starting to feel really tired all the time and some of the easiest movements from teaching are starting to get more difficult with my growing belly. But I want to teach up until the end so I can get good money for my mat leave..... or I at least HOPE I can get decent money. We don't need alot, but the money I bring in is our "fun" money and the money we use to go out and do stuff and take trips and such. Plus in July we're taking a trip to Alberta for the wedding of one of Panda Man's best friends - which will be fun - but will also cost us a bit of money in gas. But not hotels, or at least not MANY hotels lol. We'll be stopping to visit my family for a little while so that will be really nice, and then we'll be staying with his family, so that saves... but still. ARGH, I just need to stop stressing myself out with everything lol.

How do YOU keep from stressing out about finances and crazy life in general???

Stroller Time!!

So we went on an excursion to Ottawa yesterday in the search of our perfect stroller. Panda man has been doing LOADS of research on different strollers and whether or not we should buy an all-in-one stroller carseat combo or if we should buy separately. So off we went to test out the number one stroller on our list: the BOB. We went to this great baby store in Ottawa called Fab Baby Gear. It was an amazing store! And the girls were SO helpful. They brought up their last BOB stroller from last year and took it out of the box so we could compare it with the model on the floor and we ended up actually liking the floor model better (it was just put together the day before lol so it wasn't a "true" floor model). So we bought our stroller and our car seat from them, along with the conversion bar to make the stroller compatible with the car seat. And we're set! Next on the list of baby items - the crib. We've bought the paint for Baby Bear's room, and we're planning to start painting it over Panda man's reading week which is coming up very fast! Some people are asking us why we are doing everything now, but I just want to be more prepared and I don't want to be panicking in 2 months when I don't have anything ready. And later today we have our "anatomy" ultrasound - and we're NOT finding out the sex of Baby Bear. We decided we want to be very surprised when Baby Bear arrives in June. We seem to have, not angered, but several people are disappointed that we aren't finding out. They really want to know. But we don't. :)

Happy Monday to you all!!
