I am still pregnant. My due date is today. I am SO sick of getting questions from everyone about how I'm feeling, if I think I'm having contractions yet, etc etc. Obviously I don't mind Paul asking, or my mom asking because they're here and they see what I'm feeling. But seriously, if you don't know me that well, don't tell me how your pregnancy was. Don't tell me how you were 10 days late and it was awful. Don't tell me that I'm definitely not feeling real contractions because this hasn't happened yet. Everyone is different. Every birth is different. It's my body - I know what's going on. And no I'm not in labour yet and I KNOW THAT. UGH.
End rant.
On a happier note, my Dad got here this morning, so that's exciting. And as soon as he walked in the door, he asked where Paul was... turns out someone went golfing this morning with his boss, so I called them and my Dad went out to meet up with them lol. It's kinda funny, and cute lol. And so far this morning I have made approximately 48 sugar cookies. Just plain round ones. The plan is to put the initial of Baby Bear on the cookies for whoever wins the baby bet. But they don't get all 48 of them lol. And man are they delicious. I may have eaten 3 cookies for my mid morning snack already lol.
Still no baby
So there's still no baby yet. My official due date is tomorrow. I thought for sure that this little one would be early... But it looks like that's not going to happen lol. I've been having Braxton hicks contractions for the past 3 days now and I'm actually noticing them, that's why I was so excited. But every time I sit down or go to bed, they disappear :(
Hopefully today will be the day. Or tomorrow.

So long since A post
Oh my. It's been a long time since I posted lol. Still no baby. I'm hoping that Baby Bear comes soon - I'm so tired of being pregnant lol. Actually I'm not tired of it, but I just want to meet the little Bear. I thought for sure I was going into labour yesterday morning at about 4am - I had intense stomach cramping/contractions... but then they stopped. Like my doctor said at my last appointment, Baby Bear is fully cooked and will come out when s/he is ready to arrive lol. My mom gets here on Friday morning so hopefully Baby Bear is just waiting for Grandma to get here. I'm probably going to do a double post today so I can show pictures of fun stuff later (they're not on my computer yet, they're still on my phone lol). We broke down and finally bought a patio set for our deck. And let me tell you. Smartest purchase we've done in awhile. We bought it on Friday night, set it up Saturday night and have eaten dinner out there every night since, I've eaten breakfast out there also, and it's been so great to just relax outside. Unfortunately, today it's pissing down rain so no deck time for me lol. I should be getting stuff done around the house.... but I'm lazy lol. I slept in again this morning - everyone keeps saying, get the sleep now, you'll need it when the baby comes. But most of these people don't actually know what I'm like with little to no sleep. When I was away at college, I could sleep for probably 2-3 hours a night and function fine for about 2-3 weeks. I used to have insomnia pretty bad. And then when I was with my ex, I was always up late trying to clean the house or do crap for him, and I was always up super duper early because of him too. So as long as I can nap when Baby Bear naps, I think I'll be ok. It makes me laugh that some people think I'm a PRIME CANDIDATE for post-partum because I'm so not worried about this baby and the way it's going to change my life. I'M EXCITED. Yes I know things are going to change - and I understand that I have no idea what's going to happen, but it's a great change and I'm really looking forward to it. It's not going to make my life crappy - it's changing my life for the better. We're starting our own family and our own traditions and seriously, I'm just so excited.
On that note - that's it for now, until I load up my super fun pictures. OHHHH and I made the cutest farm animal cookies for my little friend Tianna's birthday - I'll be sure to post those too :)

Baby Bear's Room
So we've finally finished the baby's nursery. For the most part lol. I still have some finishing touches to do. The closet is ready to go, fully stocked due to the fact that I work at Carters Oshkosh and get a sweet discount.

21 DAYS
So there are only 21 days until Baby Bear's official arrival. YIKES!!! I'm starting to get very excited and very nervous. And I can't wait until this little one finally arrives and we get to meet him/her. I finally had a dream about the baby last night - and in my dream - the baby was a little boy! That's the first time I've ever had a dream about the sex of the baby.
I don't have my hospital bag packed yet, but I pretty much have everything I need now. I've been getting advice from different friends who are already mommies on what the important things to bring are. The babies room is almost fully ready as well. We have the crib, and the change table, and Paul is in the process of putting the dresser together. I have a few more little projects I want to do for the room.... like putting up the baby's name on the wall - which will obviously have to wait until the baby arrives lol. But I want to put the first letter of the baby's name on the door to the nursery and since we have 2 names picked out, one boy name and one girl name - and they both start with the SAME letter - we can do that now. But it's a secret as to what the names are lol :)
I went out last night and bought all the ingredients I needed to make my own Cherry Cherry Limeade at home... now I'm just waiting for the ice to freeze so I can make it :) I don't quite have the proper ingredients, the website I found said I need Cherry Juicy Juice - which I can't find anywhere in Canada. So I just bought Grenadine syrup... hopefully it will do the same thing for me lol. I also found a website that has the recipe for the little buns and cinnamon butter from Texas Roadhouse, and I can't wait to try those out!! But it's getting freaking hot here so I don't know how much baking I really want to be doing right now. But I am tempted to make sugar cookies today lol. But I think that's just because I'm craving sugar right now.
