America the Beautiful

For those of you who know me, you know that I'm Canadian. What some of you may not know is that I spent four years of my childhood in Choctaw, Oklahoma while my dad was posted to Tinker Air Force Base. It was such an amazing experience and it has always made me long for the good ol' USA on a regular basis.

Y'all, I'm here. Right now. Typing this from my iPad at my sisters house in Georgia. And it's awesome. So far, we've been to Chick-fil-a, Sonic, IHOP and tomorrow we are going to a local place called The Bears Den. I love that my sister lives here so I can visit on a regular basis and so that I get a chance to relive my youth and enjoy so many American things. Like the Georgia national fair next week. And the cabbage patch. I am loving this. So if my posts are sporadic, it's because I am so busy soaking in as much Americana as I can!

  1. This makes me laugh- I think of Canada as somewhere I'd like to go, so it's weird seeing the US as a tourist place lol. :) Glad you're having fun!
