BLAH

So I'm still sick, but it's moved to my nose now as well as my throat.... yay.... NOT.

Panda Man is having all his buddies over tonight for a poker night... I was supposed to have a nice quiet night upstairs organizing and cleaning my stamping room. Unfortunately or fortunately, I'm not sure how to look at it yet, the spouses are coming over. I say unfortunately because well, I'm still sick so I'm not GREAT company right now and I was really looking forward to organizing and cleaning (yes, I'm a bit of a loser, but I know that lol). Fortunately, I haven't seen some of them for awhile so that will be fun. Unfortunately, some of them I have seen recently and am not mentally prepared for another attack on how I am going about my pregnancy and how I am going to raise my child and how I don't know anything. But maybe that won't happen. I also feel bad because there will be non-pregnant spouses and spouses without babies here... and when we get together, we ALWAYS end up talking babies, I know, I used to be on the other side of it and it sucked. So I'm hoping that I can keep the conversations away from only baby related things. But I don't know how well that will work.

Well enough "slacking", I must go clean the entire house before these people get here, since I've been sick for the past week, I really haven't done anything.... and it shows lol. UGH. Wish me cleaning luck and speed lol.

Sick sick sick

I am so sick of being sick. Right now, I'm so stuffed up and can barely talk and I've been this way since MONDAY. That's 5 full days of a cold. And because I'm preggers, guess who can't guzzle cough syrup to combat this cold? That's right, me. And it makes me so sad. On top of the cough that I have, I also have a very bad gag reflex - so sometimes I cough so hard, that I get sick. It's awful.

On a happier note though, I FINALLY have 6 people to run my Stamp Camp Monthly Group. I'm a Stampin' Up Demonstrator and lately it's been mostly a hobby but this is the year I wanted to get things in gear and start to make it a real business. It's been slow going - I partially blame the pregnancy because I was pretty sick for the first bit, but now, it's going to get started. And I have a FULL camp! So the 6 ladies agree to sign on for 6 months, they order $35/month of product (whatever they choose), and one month out of the 6 they receive all of the hostess benefits, and we have a night of stamping fun where I teach them new techniques. And I meet my quarterly minimums and have a fabulous time. If you're interested in hearing more about Stampin Up or about becoming a demonstrator yourself, send me a message, I can answer all of your questions :)

So it's only 150 days until Baby Bear's official arrival date..... AAAAHHHHH lol. I'm thinking of making myself a list - 150 things to do in 150 days and I'll see if I can get them all done lol. Actually I should put making the list on the list hahaha, I'm such a procrastinator that I'll be lucky if I get the entire list made. Any suggestions would be welcomed!!!

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

Snowy snowy days

We got DUMPED on with snow yesterday so I took a break from blogging and snuggled down on the couch with a bowl of popcorn and watched football with my honey and his buddy who was down from another base for a visit. I also may have gone for my first pregnancy massage ever! And man was it amazing, my back feels so great today and it was so relaxing. AND I may have booked another one for 4 weeks from now lol.

Today was day of business, we had church first thing this morning. It was CWL Sunday (Catholic Women's League), and it was also the installation of the new executive officers - of which I am a part of now! I am the new secretary for the next two years... or one year... I'm not sure how long the term is for. I'm fairly excited about it, a little bit nervous too. Then we went to Best Buy and I got a new stereo for teaching, and we went to Home Sense to look for a mirror and that was a failed mission. We also went to Michael's but there weren't any really great sales and nothing really caught my eye today. Next stop was one of my favourite places to go..... COSTCO!!! And we had hot dogs and poutine for lunch, yummy!! I know I'm not "supposed" to have hot dogs since I'm pregnant, but I only had half of one and it was SO delicious I couldn't say no. Then we went to my least favourite store right now (but only because it stresses me out far too much), Babies R Us. We found out that the stroller we want isn't on recall, but now we're not sure if that's even the stroller we actually want anymore.... ugh!!! Then it was off to Loblaw's for grocery shopping, where we followed our meal plan perfectly and only spent $53 for the entire weeks worth of groceries!! I'm so excited that we're doing so well with this. And finally we headed to Wal-Mart so Panda Man could get a new video game, he's been doing so well with our budgeting and getting on track with everything that I thought he could use a little treat. And now he's hunkered down in front of the TV playing Madden 2011. It's cute. And I am about to make dinner and then start teaching plans for the 12 million dance classes I'm teaching this week... wish me luck lol!

Blog Revamp and Photo Decisions....

I am in the process of revamping the blog.... very slowly, so please bear with me as I undergo the renovation process lol. I haven't found the perfect template yet and I don't know how to create them, I begged Panda Man to create one for me and he refused. He actually said he didn't know how and that we would have to buy special software for the computer (which I was TOTALLY okay with but he didn't agree with that either lol). I'm contemplating purchasing this Scrapbooking Software from Stampin' Up because I'm a Stampin' Up Demonstrator (I LOVE that stuff to death). And I know that they have some "blog" type stuff so maybe I'll wait a bit to totally revamp the page.

On the baby front, I'm starting to get more excited/panic alot more about stuff that needs to be done. My OCD listmaking skills are definitely coming into play now. And several of my photographer friends are fighting over who gets to take my preggo pics and my newborn pics and I have NO IDEA how to choose who I want to do them - because they all take really great pictures. For those of you reading my blog (if there are really any people out there in blog land.....) how would you decide???

PS - 3 days posting in a row! That's a record lol.

Blog Friends

I was very lucky over Christmas vacation - I was able to spend time with my sister and parents and I met a fellow blogger, who's blog is HILARIOUS and she is super funny in real life too. Colby is a great write and I urge you to check out her blog. She discusses how you MUST order eggs at IHOP, which is the weirdest thing in the world but it's a true story - I was there when it happened.

So I'm back into full swing with teaching - tonight was a funny night though - I told all of my students that 1 - I'm pregnant and 2 - I'm getting married. They were equally excited about both things but EXTREMELY worried that I was going to stop teaching them next week lol. I assured them that I am not quitting yet, I plan on teaching as long as I possibly can - but holy man, 3 hours of teaching has me extremely tired.... I'm not sure how I'm going to handle teaching full days - starting next week I'll be teaching dance from 9am-4pm Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays... should be interesting.

Hope all is well in blogworld!! Love ya!

In Need of a Blog Makeover lol

After creeping on numerous other blogs (I'm too scared too commit to commenting on them because I don't know any of them personally - I should learn to commit), I have realized that my blog look is boring. And I've had it for over a year (even though I haven't been consistently blogging for that long). So if you have any suggestions of FREE sites for layouts, let me know.

January has been a whirlwind month already - and it's already half over!! Where did it go??? Oh right, the first week was devoted to beach living - we went to Jamaica for one glorious week! And it was beautiful.

That's the view from our hotel balcony - HOW FREAKING SWEET WAS THAT??? lol. And I also had the surprise of a lifetime when Panda Man proposed to me! It was our 3rd day at the resort and we were going for a walk on the beach. Our conversation went like this:

Panda Man: So what's your plan for tomorrow?
Me: I'm on vacation - I have no plan... I'll probably lie on the beach.
Panda Man: (as he's stopped walking and I didn't even notice) Well, what's your plan for the rest of your life?
Me: Huh? What are you talking...... (by this point, I had turned around and realized he was on one knee with a ring in his freaking hand!!!)
Panda Man: Will you be my wife?
Me: (as I'm sobbing already - pregnancy hormones kill ya lol) YES!!!

And from the random people on the beach: HOLY SH*T That guy totally just proposed on the beach!!! DID SHE SAY YES????

And the ring he used holds sentimental value as well - it was my Grandma Blanche's wedding ring. So all in all, it was a wonderful trip.

Now we're back home, it's snowing like crazy and I'm back to work both with teaching and at the gym and maybe next week the baby store too..... I may be taking on too much but now with a baby on the way and a wedding to plan, we definitely need to make and save as much money as possible.

That's all for today - I'm trying to blog regularly..... we'll see though lol.
