We had some questions to answer about our Blog Angel time.  So here goes:

In case you forgot - my Blog that I was an Angel to was Randalin over at:

200x100

1. How has your relationship with your blogger and Blog Angel developed since the reveal?
I think it's good - I love reading Randalin's blog.  It has amazing stuff on Montessori teachings and I love reading about her little guy, Kale.
2. How have your helped them out and what help have you received?
For Randalin, I tweeted about her blog and told several of my real life Mom friends about it too :)  I also voted for her on the Top 25 Canadian Mom Blogs.
3. What have you learnt about your blogger since the reveal?
I've learned that Randalin is really awesome and that we actually live semi close to each other, which is cool.  And she is helping me out with my blog now too so that's super awesome!
4. What plans have you to stay in touch in the future?
I follow her on Twitter and Bloglovin now (and let me be honest, there are some blogs I follow on Bloglovin that I mark as read without reading and her blog is NEVER one of those because she always has awesome stuff to read about!)  And I hope to maybe send her family a real Christmas card too (since they live in Canada and all lol).

I honestly have had a blast doing BlogAngels both times that I've participated in it.  And I am so thankful to Rosie for running it and getting it all set up - she's pretty awesome!!  So everyone should totally get involved next time!!!

Fab Friday!

Time to link up with the Lovely Laura for another FAB FRIDAY!!

- I worked at the gym tonight.  I HEART working at the gym.  It's a pretty slack job (in the membership office) but it's so relaxing and so stress free!

- I'm heading down to Watertown to do some cross border shopping tomorrow with my little lady - super pumped for some American goodies.

- I felt Baby Squishy/Timbit (we can't decide on a nickname) move for the first time this week.  It was definitely not gas, and I've felt it a few more times since the first time too!

- Nora looked super cute today - so that was fab lol.

- Paul has to work all weekend (not so fab) but it means more time for me and Nora to snuggle and have girl time.  I think we might try a few pinterest crafts this weekend!!

- I finally have my Ultrasound scheduled for November 22.  Then we can find out if we are having a he or a she!!  I'm pretty pumped to find out this time.

- Also on the not so fab - drama rama at the studio is at an all time high... but at this point, I don't care anymore so it just makes me giggle now.  Which is weird but I find it fab lol.

HAPPY FRIDAY Y'ALL!!

Blog Angels... sorry it's late!!

CraftboticBlogAngels

So I participated in the Blog Angels again. And I must say it was lovely to do again - my bloggy friend that I looked out for during the first 15 days of October is quite awesome.  And seriously, she is awesome - she works full time, has an awesome little guy, and she's Canadian (which gives her automatic awesome/cool points in my books lol).

Meet my new friend Randalin over at Harvesting Kale!!

Honestly she's awesome.  And the way that she said she needed help was Shout Outs - so I started with the most important things of following her blog, following her on Twitter and commenting on her blog.  I also tweeted about her a couple of times as she was in the Top 25 Canadian Moms Blogs of 2012 - WAY TO GO!!!  That's super awesome.  I definitely recommend her blog - she does a feature called Montessori Mondays and I have to admit - that after starting to follow her blog, I've actually gone back and read SEVERAL of the Monday entries because they are so informative.

And she was also the winner of my Birthday Blog Giveaway!! YAY!!!  It's been awesome being her Blog Angel (I still wish I could do more for her, but I'm still trying to send lots of people her way - cuz she's really cool.)

FAB FRIDAY!

This is going to be a quick Fab Friday post for me today - I have to finish PACKING!!

This Friday is SO FAB because I'm heading to Toronto for the weekend to participate in Triple Threat Dance Convention.  It's a super awesome Canadian dance convention that I used to do every year when I was younger.  But since I've been in Ontario - I've obviously missed it for the past 3 years.  But they are coming to Toronto - which is only 3 hours away from us and I'm teaching so I actually get to take 3 of my students to it this year!!

And on top of that, as part of my birthday present - I have $150 to spend on merchandise from the convention - I am such a dance clothes addict.  I own so many pairs of yoga pants, dance tops, sweatshirts from conventions, tshirts from shows and studios I've worked at and danced at.  And Triple Threat is no different - I've always bought a least a shirt, if not the whole sweatsuit outfit from them.  So I'm pretty stoked for this.

It's also my FIRST EVER TIME AWAY FROM NORA.  She's almost 16 months old.  And I've never left her for longer than 10 hours.  I'm so nervous to leave her for the entire weekend, but she'll be at home with Daddy so it'll be all good.  Hopefully lol.  I'll probably call them lots lol.  Thank goodness for iPhones and FaceTime :)

HAPPY FRIDAY TO YOU ALL - Hope it's a Fab Day for everyone!!!

Winner Winner!!!

Congratulations to Miss Randalin over at Harvesting Kale for winning my Birthday Giveaway.  I honestly had so much fun picking stuff out for that - that I might just do another one in the near future!!  Yay for Giveaways!!

It's been a busy week around here (hence the lack of posting lol).  Let's start from the top:

Last Saturday:
- we hosted Thanksgiving Dinner at our house (we had another couple come over) and I was SUPER sick all day, so Paul cooked the turkey, made the potatoes, made the stuffing, and pretty much did everything.  Did I mention I have an amazing husband???
- Nora went to bed at 6:30pm... which meant she was up at 1am wanting to play.  Not so much fun.

Last Sunday:
- still felt sick.  Slept in late because I didn't sleep during the night because someone was playing lol.
- had to go to work at the mall.  Thank goodness it was floor set - so it was just rearranging shelves and and clothes and stuff, so it was an easy 4 hour shift.

Last Monday:
- still didn't feel so hot.  And Paul was sick too.  So we spend the majority of the day lounging on the couch, snuggling with Nora, watching TV and taking naps.  And eating homemade turkey soup that my awesome husband also made!

Tuesday:
- feeling a tad bit better - had to teach dance for 5.5 hours.  And the studio was 15 degrees Celsius (which is 59 F).  Workplace Health and Safety mandates that it must be 18 degrees (64.4F).  So by the time I left, my toes were frozen and I was SO cold.  And pissy lol.

Wednesday:
- I had my first shift back at the gym on base, I work in the membership office.  It was pretty slack and easy and I remember most stuff so that was nice.
- I taught at 3:30 but I pick up one of my students from her bus stop so she isn't super late for class - turns out, her bus was running late, so we got to the studio 1 minute before class was supposed to start and the AD of the studio was already in there, teaching my class, after having yelled at my students for being late and being bad and pretty much made them cry.  I was fuming.  And then she didn't stick around to talk to me about it after.  I'm very fed up with how things are going.  AND the heat still wasn't on so I went home sick part way through the night.

Today:
- Second training shift at the gym.  I'm ready for my solo shift next week - it shouldn't be too bad :)
- Taught tonight, still no heat.  Halfway through my second class the AD comes in and asks if I'm warm enough and I said NO.  I was wearing: a tank top, a long sleeve shirt, a sweatshirt, a pair of yoga pants, a pair of capri pants over that, two pairs of socks and a scarf.  DO YOU THINK I'M WARM ENOUGH????  And she finally turned the heat on.  So I guess that's a good thing, but now it means I can't complain to the labour board about it lol.  I think I still might, but I'm not sure.

Tomorrow - I leave for a weekend of dancing in Toronto.  I'm going to the Triple Threat Dance convention and I'm pretty excited for it.  The only sadness of it is that this is the first time that I'm leaving Nora.  Like ever.  I'll be gone for Friday, Saturday and coming home Sunday night.  She'll be with Paul so it's not a huge deal, but I'm still nervous about it!

Happy Friday Eve!!

Fab Friday and Fridays Letters

Normally I don't do two link ups in one day let alone combine the two of them - but these are both TOO good to pass up!!

Dear Husband,
You are awesome - thank you for letting Norabear and I travel for 5 days without you.  We had a wonderful trip but we are also so very thankful to be back home with you.  We both missed you lots!
Love your wife!

Dear Norabear,
You are also awesome!  World's best little traveler.  You slept on the airplane both times, and you didn't complain too much about your routine being messed up.  AND now that we are back home, you are napping on your schedule and sleeping through the night, and you are completely weaned.  I love you so much!!
Love your Momma!

Dear Squishy/Timbit,
We still can't decide what nickname we want to give you, but we are so thankful for you.  Very happy that I've made it through the first trimester officially (as of Tuesday! woot woot!), on a sidenote, do you think maybe you could get rid of the sick feeling though, I'm hoping it doesn't last the whole pregnancy lol.  Can't wait to hear your little heartbeat at my next dr's appointment!!
Love your Momma!

Dear OPI,
Thank you so much for making those quick dry drops.  If y'all haven't tried them - go buy them NOW!!  I did my manicure at my sister's house last Friday.  It is now one week later and my nails are only now starting to chip a teensy bit.  This stuff is AWESOME!!
Love, a happy consumer

Some fabulous things happening for us right now!
1. We are hosting friends for Thanksgiving Dinner tomorrow night (cuz it's Thanksgiving up here in Canada this weekend!) and I'm making a turkey and stuffing and I'm so excited to be doing this.
2. I made it through the 1st trimester!! YAY!
3. It was my 30th birthday on Tuesday.  And even though I taught dance for 5.5 hours that night, it was an awesome night, my students brought cupcakes and sang me happy birthday so it was quite fun.
4.  I'm heading to Triple Threat Dance Convention this time next week - I can not wait!  I haven't been to Triple Threat in about 5 years so it should be a real blast!  And it's also going to be my first official weekend away from Norabear. Ever.  I'm nervous yet excited.  And very happy that we are done with bfing now too lol.

Happy Friday Y'all!!!

30

Turning thirty is the beginning of a new decade for me. It's awesome to see where I am now from where I was 10 years ago.

I am so thankful for my loving husband and daughter and new little one on the way. They are my world.

I am so thankful for my mother, my father and my sister. They have helped shape who I am today. And I love them so very much.

I am thankful for a roof over my head, food on my plate, a job to go to and so much more.

Thirty has been wonderful so far and I am excited for everything that it will bring me.

Happy birthday to all the October babies out there!!!

Georgia On My Mind

It has been a whirlwind 5 day trip.  And I have enjoyed EVERY second of it.  As part of my 30th birthday present this year, my parents gave me a "surprise" trip down to Georgia to visit with them and my sister.  It has been a BUSY trip.

We started off on Friday with a trip to the Cabbage Patch with Nora - it was absolutely fabulous.  It was so much more fun this time around because she is older.  She had a blast hugging the dolls and running Grandpa ragged lol.
Auntie Danie, Mommy and Nora sitting in the Cabbage leaves.
Nora hugging her new BFF.  They were the same size!
After the Cabbage Patch - we headed to the Tanger Outlet Mall for some retail therapy.  That was also a complete blast and Nora got a lot of new outfits from Grandma and Grandpa.  And I managed to find quite a few things too :)

Saturday we drove out to Hobby Lobby in Warner-Robbins.  I was in heaven.  Absolutely loved being able to go there and buy all sorts of fabulous and fun craft supplies that I can't get here in Canada.  We also went to Target.  Another fave store of mine.  And then we headed to Menchie's Frozen Yogurt.  Nora loved it - it was our first time going there, but we do have one in Kingston so that's awesome and we will definitely be visiting there.
On Saturday night we went to La Parilla for Mexican food to celebrate my birthday a little bit early.  It was so much fun - I even got to wear a crazy hat while the mariachi band sang happy birthday to me.

On Sunday we slept in, Auntie Danie finished Nora's beautiful blanket (which will get it's own post later this week because it's SO awesome.)  We went to Cracker Barrel for dinner and it was my first time there.  I had the Chicken and Dumplin's and it was pretty gosh darn good.  I love me some Southern Cooking.  Then we went to Danie's friends house to meet their new baby - the great and powerful O.Z.  (Olivia Echo Zampa).  She is ADORABLE, so teeny tiny - she was born 5 weeks early and only weighs like 5 lbs.  It's hard to believe that in 6 months I will have a teeny tiny baby again too.  And then Danie and I went to Walmart and oh man, people of Walmart are alive and kicking in Southern Georgia.  OH and I found out the HONEY BOO BOO lives like 30 minutes away from my sister.  SO CRAZY.

Today we went to Danie's work to show Nora off lol.  And then we went to the yarn store and to Ulta beauty where I picked up some awesome nailpolish stuff.  So excited to use it.  And then for dinner tonight, we celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving a little bit early and had a turkey dinner with lemon merengue pie for dessert.  DELICIOUS.

After dinner, we had art time with Nora where she did fingerpainting for the first time ever.  It was SO much fun.
Loving hanging out in her diaper.
Auntie Danie, Nora and Mommy painting her canvas.
A little bit covered in paint.
Meltdown!!
Enjoying some breakfast at IHOP on Sunday.
Thanksgiving Dessert for Nora, Pudding Pops!!
 Loving her some pudding pops!

Hope y'all have a wonderful week!!  Stay tuned because there will be a BIRTHDAY GIVEAWAY COMING UP!!!  In celebration of my 30th birthday TOMORROW!! EEEKS!!!
